How it works

Three steps to a license you can verify

  1. 01

    Pick a license type

17 Colorado license types, each with county pages and a page for every active license.

  2. 02

    Read the license panel

License number, type, status and expiration date, with the date we last checked the state file.

  3. 03

    Confirm at the source

One click to the official lookup (DORA and DORA / NMD) before you hire.

Why license-checked matters

Every license has an expiration date.

In Colorado, DORA licenses electricians, plumbers, cosmetologists, nurses, therapists, CPAs, engineers, natural medicine facilitators and dozens of other professions, and the Department of Revenue licenses natural medicine businesses. Licenses lapse unless renewed: most records in the DORA file are expired. We show only active ones, and we say when we checked.
